#TaxImpact: Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom Puts Taxpayers Money Into Action (Photos)

The Benue State Internal Revenue Services (BIRS), commenced a media tour on Tuesday 27th August 2019 to visit project sites executed by the state governor, Samuel Ortom in Zone B senatorial district of the state, Lasgidi Online reports.

The media tour is a brain work of BIRS, which is in charge of tax collection in the state, the board brought up this media tour to make the people to be aware of how their monies are been spent on developmental projects in the state.

The construction sites visited were; the newly renovated Government Girls College and Government College Makurdi popularly known as GCM.

Other project sites include; the Police Mobile Barracks Road and Yaikyor Adeke road in Makurdi.

In Gboko, the team was at the site of a completed Adeka road on the outskirts of the historical Tiv headquarters.

In the township, the team also visited the construction of pavements on the JS Tarka Way Gboko, Streets Roads and a gigantic covet project also ongoing in Gboko town all carried out by Governor Samuel Ortom through Taxpayers’ money.
