Nigeria Becomes First Team To Qualify For Basketball World Cup

The victory ensures Nigeria cannot drop between second place in Group F’s standing. which is enough to qualify for the qualification.

Nigeria D’Tigers have become the first team to qualify for the the basketball World Cup 2019 in China. the team extended its unbeaten run in the qualifiers to 8 games after beaten Central African Republic 114 – 69 on Saturday.

The victory ensures Nigeria cannot drop between second place in Group F’s standing. which is enough to qualify for the qualification.

On Friday, the Nigerian team beat Cote D’ Ivoire 84-83 for its seven consecutive win of the qualifiers.

Five countries will represent Africa with the two top teams in each group and the best third placed team qualifying for the Tournament to be hosted by China next year.
