After a busy couple of months for the Royal Family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been sure to thank well-wishers, and have sent out adorable thank you cards to commemorate two of the big family occasions.
On May 2, less than two weeks after the birth of her baby brother, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte celebrated her third birthday.
She inevitably received messages of love from around the world, and her mum and dad have shown their gratitude to those who marked the occasion, with a beautiful photograph card of the young Royal.
It had been a big year for the junior princess, having started nursery school in January, as well as becoming a big sister.
William and Kate chose to use pictures that were shared on the princess’ first day of school on the front of her birthday thank you cards.
The photos were snapped by the Duchess of Cambridge on the steps of Kensington Palace, as Charlotte headed off for her first day at Wilcock’s Nursery School, Kensington.
Charlotte was dressed in a stylish red overcoat, with matching buckle shoes, and a backpack ready for her first day in the classroom.
Inside the card was a note from the Duke and Duchess, reading: “Thank you for so kindly writing as you did to Princess Charlotte on the occasion of her third birthday.
“This was most thoughtful of you, and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who you send their best wishes.”
Charlotte’s third year also got off to an exciting start, as she took a starring role in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding, walking down the aisle as a flower girl.
However, it hasn’t been the only wedding to commemorate as at the end of April, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary.
The couple receive hundreds of messages of congratulations every year, and have repaid the favour by writing to people who wished them well on April 29.
The card contains a beautiful image of the couple embracing during their trip to India and Bhutan in 2016, and is the same photo that they used to mark the occasion last year.
The message in the card reads: ”The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thank you for the thoughtful message you so kindly sent on the occasion of their 7th wedding anniversary.”
After a whirlwind couple of months, earlier this week Kensington Palace tweeted to thank people for all of the messages of congratulations following the Royal Wedding, Charlottes’s birthday, and the birth of William and Kate’s third child.
The official account posted: “Thank you everyone for the beautiful cards and letters following Princess Charlotte’s third birthday, the birth of Prince Louis, and the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“We’ve received over 36,000 letters in the past month alone.”
