Tottenham V Arsenal Today By 5:00 PM

Arsenal will be looking to put their Champions League heartbreak behind
them and return their focus to the Premier League when they face bitter
rivals Tottenham this evening.

The Gunners saw their European
campaign come to an end at the last-16 stage for the fourth consecutive
season after going down 3-1 on aggregate against holders Bayern Munich,
although they had managed a credible 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena on
Tuesday.

Arsene Wenger’s men will now make the trip to White Hart
Lane looking to maintain their 100% record against Spurs this season,
having secured a 1-0 win in the reverse fixture last year before
cruising to a 2-0 result in the FA Cup in January.

A win this evening will be of the utmost importance to Arsenal’s Premier League
title chase, with the side having slipped to third in recent weeks,
seven points below leaders Chelsea but with a game in hand.

Tottenham,
meanwhile, will be looking for much more consistency in the top flight,
having won only three of their last six league outings, while also
crashing to a 4-0 defeat against the Blues last weekend.

Tim
Sherwood’s men also saw their Europa League quest take a massive blow as
they crashed to a 3-1 defeat to Benfica in the first leg of their
last-16 clash in Portugal on Thursday.

The Spurs boss has a raft
of injuries to deal with, too, as Moussa Dembele, Vlad Chiriches , Erik
Lamela and Etienne Capoue are all out.

Michel Dawson is also rated as doubtful while Younes Kaboul is missing through suspension.

Arsenal,
meanwhile, must do without midfielder Mesut Ozil, who aggravated his
hamstring strain against Bayern, although both Kieran Gibbs and Nacho
Monreal are fit for selection, giving Wenger a selection headache at
left-back.

Aaron Ramsey is close to a return but this weekend’s
match comes too soon, while there could be a debut in line for Kim
Kallstrom, although the boss is still to make a decision on the on-loan
Spartak Moscow ace.
